Woven silk and metal thread.
Ground of irregular silk satin weave with delicate taffeta woven edge. The warp of ivory with a ground weft of lime green and supplementary wefts of 1) a continuous metal (silver/silver coloured?) thread file and 2) the brocading group consisting of four silks and one metal (gold/ coloured?) which has been used in the small flower petals. i.e. seven weft threads in total. Two types of faceted beads (gold and silver coloured) hand-sewn onto the ribbon. (en)
