In brown silk ribbed tabby with a black silk pile design of bunches of roses graded in size from the ends to the middle of the scarf linked by three rows of chain or braid. Smaller bunches of flowers are scattered in the gaps and there is a narrow border of rose and leaf trail. The top edge is reinforced with a binding of brown silk.
