The pattern is woven in gold and silver thread and coloured silks on salmon pink satin ground. It has a bizzarre design composed of goblets, gourds, and decorative panels, carried out largely in metal thread. There are clusters of semi-natuiralistic small flowers at intervals across the silk. The flowers are chiefly pale green, white, mauve, and there are two repeats of the design (in a width of the material).\n\nTechnical details\nTissue, satin, ground and a binding warp taken from the ground, and the pattern is bound in 3/1 twill.
