"Embroidered panel of velvet and silk, Spain, 19th century."@en . . "Embroidered panel of orange-red velvet with cut-steel beads and some opaque glass beads in shades of white, grey, blue and green. A border contains a scrolling flower stem running around the entire panel. In the centre is a ciborium containing a sacred host from which rays of light are emitted. The ciborium is supported by clouds in which are the heads of three cherubs. Two further cherubs are in the top corners of the panel. The faces of the cherubs are painted on applied canvas.\n\nFive heavy tassels of yellow glass beads and metal beads hang from the top corners and from the bottom edge. The top border extends for one inch on either side and a series of tapes appear to have been attached on the back all round the edge. Lined with plain cream silk."@en . . "2021-02-10T00:00:00"^^ .
