Ware, originally produced in South China but later found elsewhere in China, in Japan, Vietnam, and elsewhere in Asia. It includes green-glaze ware and other color-glaze wares with distinctive low relief decoration. Objects include tea ware, decorations for the walls and roof ridges of temples, and figures, including human figures, animals, birds, and flowers in bright, glossy colors.
