Ha quedado superado por el uso del "bucarán legal." Smooth-grained, natural- or cream-colored calf, vegetable-tanned, usually with bark, and commonly used in the 19th and early 20th centuries in binding law books, particularly in England. It has been superceded for that use by "law buckram." Glad geaderd natuurlijk of crèmekleurig kalfsleer, plantaardig gelooid (meestal met schors) en veel gebruikt in de 19de en 20ste eeuw voor het binden van wetboeken, voornamelijk in Engeland.
