Velvet structure: green silk, pile counts, warps 11, along weft 13. Binding weft threads: silk, thin and less thin. Brocade structure, part brocadedthe gilt thread seemed to have been used mostly in accents: in the serrated leaves at the side, in the cenre of the smallest circlesthe rest of the velvet is voided NOT brocaded.metal & twist: gilt or silver (?) S. Tightness of wrap: medium. Slightly S spun silk filaments. Satin selvedges: purply brown think silk with a little blue thicker silk.
