Voided velvet panel, showing a renaissance building in a garden setting. Woven with red, green and gold-colored silks. Velvet pile is cut and uncut giving a three dimensional and modeled effect. Ground possibly may have been of silver-glit threads, fragments of which remain. Continuous border on four sides of undulating floral vine. Condition excellent. Selvedges remain on top and bottom.
