With swags of roses, thistles, shamrock and acorns, and curling ribbons inscribed '1897 Victoria Regina 1897' enclosing the Royal Arms, crowned initials 'V & R' in a wreath of laurel, the leopards of England, the harp of Ireland, and the lion of Scotland.
