To what dismal State they brought us. When they stole forbidden Fruit." Under this an apple tree, Adam and Eve and the serpent. At the bottom: "1834 Elizabeth Labdon, aged 10 years." The whole framed with floral border. Stitches: cross, double running, satin, and tent. A few holes, and stains.
