Long woven shawl of wool and silk with deep end borders containing fern-like cones. Plain white centre invaded by long delicate sprays of flowers and leaves which reach almost to the centre. The colours are red, pink, green, orange and blue with white and brown. The warp is dyed for the patterned end-pieces and the warp fringe is in green, red, white, blue, orange and buff, for the mustard brown weft. In the borders the warp is dyed dark red. The pattern is bound in 1/3 twill.
