Woman's cap of muslin, embroidered with coloured silks in cross stitch of dark red, blue, green, yellow and black. The embroidery forms a band along the front edge and up the centre of the head, with a formalised spray of flowers in each of the angles so formed. The back of the cap is inset with a circle of crochet lace. The edges are trimmed with two rows of crochet in white and red, with a red silk drawstring threaded through at the back.
