Tassel of silk metal thread. The metal shaft is covered with a mesh of metal thread from which protrude four wooden knobs, increasing in size towards the base, covered with red silk and gilded plaques, and secured with and surrounded by metal wire. From the lowest knob hangs a metal thread with a silk core, the threads twisted double leaving a loop at the end. The tassel hangs from a red silk cord.
