This silk programme was produced for the last two nights of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company's production of Ruddigore, or the Witches' Curse! at the Theatre Royal Jersey, advertising specifically the last patronage of Colonel Boughey on Thursday 28th July 1887. The production was led by Mr. W. R. Shirley as Robin Oakapple, with the acting manager Mr. R. Redford, conductor Mr. W. Robinson and stage manager Mr. R. Weathersby. The scenery was painted by Mr. Bankes, with dances arranged by Mr. F. D'Auban, dreses by Madame Leon, military uniforms byt Messrs. Cater & Co. (from designs from the Military Fine Art Gallery) and wigs by Mr. Clarkson. The programme also makes note of the performance of Messrs. Livermore Bros. original Court Minstrels on Monday 1st August.
