Formed part of one of the coverings of the chair from which came textile T.143-1959. The original covering was T.143-1959, then came an embroidered chair seat, then T.144-1959, put on by the late Dowager Marchioness of Salisbury and finally the chair was mounted in silver ribbed twill.
