| - Panel of brocaded silk, France, 1710-1720 (en)
- Panel with a ground of pale olive green formed from a weft of silver bound yellow thread. The ground also contains a sub pattern in cream and emerald green. The main pattern is brocaded in silver thread, frisé and filé and in coloured silks of dark and pale blue, dark and pale salmon pink and dusty pink.
The sub pattern forms two rows down the length of the piece of large egg shaped forms in which the sub pattern twists and swirls into scroll forms.
The brocaded pattern consists mainly of sprays of stylised flowers, berries, grapes and jagged leaf forms which curve in alternate directions up and down the pattern. There are four types of spray motifs. Two alternate in the central panel of the pattern in between the two rows of egg shaped forms and are more elaborate and brightly coloured than the other two alternating forms which appear within, and extend beyond, each egg shaped form.
Scattered over the entire pattern are tiny blue and pink flowers on stems with leaves. In between each of the central sprays is another motif, probably consisting of berries and fruit. (en)
