The field is patterned with horizontal stripes, gold rosettes on a tan ground alternating with scrolling leafy flowered stems in colours on a gold ground. The end panels each have a row of five symmetrical flowering plants in green, blue, yellow and white on a gold ground. The narrow borders are decorated with scrolling stems with flowers, fruit and foliage. The patka bears a stamp from the toshkhana (wardrobe store) of Asaf Jah, first Nizam of Hyderabad and date 1159 AH (1746AD). (en)
