- Panel of brocaded green gauze, woven with a ribbed effect and watered.
The design is brocaded in flat gold paper strip, orange, purple, blue, green and white silks. A spray of flowers, each composed of chrysanthemum and dahlias, is placed in each lower corner, and a wicker basket containing grasses and flowers resembling lilies occupies the centre of the space above.
The ground weft threads are grouped alternatively 1 and 3. The brocaded weft threads are grouped in fours.
The panel may have been the cover of a window. It is joined horizontally down the centre, the edges there both being selvedges. The outer sides are cut. (en)
