Dragon robe of blue tapestry weave (kesi) silk. The ground is a complicated pattern of polychrome clouds with scattered bats. The garment has a wide border at the hem with waves and narrow stripes in polychrome. There are large five-clawed dragons in gold thread on the back and front, and smaller ones on the cuffs and neck band. The sleeves are of dark blue silk with black silk and gold thread borders. The robe fastens with gold buttons and loops and opens on the left-hand side. There is a split up the centre of the skirt at both the back and front, and at the sides. The robe has plaited gold thread trimming. None of the ‘twelve symbols’ are represented on this robe. The robe is lined with pale blue silk.
