Halo: silk cord and radiating aura in silver thread, 2 threads together couched.
Background: tissue (lampas) with dark blue ground, woven in tabby and two pattern wefts, buff and pale blue, also woven in tabby one shoot ground weft; one shoot pattern weft: one shoot pattern weft. Repeat: L. 2.625 ins, W. 2.25 ins.
Border: dark blue satin ground, woven with a pattern in gilt-paper strip, bound only by the decoupures. Repeat: L.6 ins, W over 4 ins- incomplete.
