| - Se denomina así el terciopelo de seda con basamento de sarga de cuatro negativa. El terciopelo de Lyon era análogo a los terciopelos españoles de los siglos XVI y XVII. Los terciopelos de Lyon solían tejerse a 20, 25 y 30 portadas, para un ancho de 50 cm, y la densidad por trama variaba de 18 a 30 hierros por centímetro. (es)
