Ceramic ware produced at Sultanabad (modern Arak, Iran), especially from 13th-14th centuries. Types were minai (a method that preserved colors through firing), lusterware, faience in green and dark blue tones, often with molded ornamentation, and tiles richly decorated in luster. (en)
